HTC EVO 3D At Sprint: Pre-Order Yours Now

Since the start of 2011, the mobile phone market has been rife with news of either handsets that have just come onto retailer shelves or are about to. There has been the Verizon iPhone 4/5, HTC Thunderbolt, Motorola Atrix 4G, news of the Samsung Galaxy S2, Samsung Droid Charge, LG Optimus 2X, Sharp Aquos and of course the inclusion of 3D onto HTC’s new EVO.

In recent weeks, we have spoken about the new HTC model, with what specs it will have, possible price, comparison made with the LG Optimus 3D, news of the battery life being upped and so on. News in today is of the handset now being available to pre-order, despite it not actually being released until the summer.

According to gizmocrunch.com, the device will now be available from Sprint, with the understanding that customers will indeed be able to receive their handset on launch.

In terms of a specs listing, the new HTC will include a 4.3-inch qHD display, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5MP rear camera with flash, 1.3MP front, 1080p video recording in 2D, 720p in 3D and so on.

Tell us are you tempted by HTC’s new EVO 3D? Will you be pre-ordering yours?

This is great and all but does anyone know how much this pre order price is? Is sprint doing the pre orders through the standard 2 year contract or just the phone itself out of contract? I really hope the price isn’t as much of a shocker as best buys.

Sprint is NOT taking pre-orders. I am not sure where this author is getting his sources from.

I live in Denver, I put my pre order in for this yesterday afternoon (Saturday) Forget calling customer care, the sales agents didnt know about the presale. I had to call a couple stores before I found someone who wasnt lazy and actually looked in their computer and noticed that they now have the ability to make a pre order. $50 put down on a sprint gift card and receipt guarantees me one when it comes out. Also keep in mind it must be a CORPORATE Sprint store, not a "Sprint store by " " wireless" store. Locations are on sprint.com then find a store. Good Luck.
