Apple iPod Nano 7th Gen Shows Up With Camera

There is no denying the fact that Apple are one of the biggest companies around right now, with the release of many great devices like the new iMac and the very illusive white iPhone 4 it’s a no brainer why the giants have just been named as the most valuable brand in the world right now.

In our venture to bring you all the current news that evolves within the tech world we are met with a mountain of speculation and no end of rumors, the latest digest of information we are bringing you involves what appears to be the 7th Generation iPod Nano which has shown up sporting a camera.

This news comes to us courtesy of the guys from over at Engadget, in their post they have an image of what could possibly the next iPod Nano. If we judge this by recent rumors than this device certainly fits the profile in what we can expect to see in a new device from Apple, the most obvious change you can see is the addition of a small camera which is said to be 1.3 megapixels.

As we all know the addition of a camera is nothing new to the company’s music products, back in 2009 we saw them add a snapper to the 5th gen model and recently we saw an upgraded camera built into the latest iPod Touch.

Although these are just rumors and should be taken with a pinch of salt the guys over at Apple Insider claim that Apple.Pro (the guys who leaked the image) have a good track record when it comes to leaking information.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think this camera sensor is big enough? Would you like to see any other features added to the iPod Nano range?
