HTC Inspire 4G from RadioShack: Going Cheap at $29.99

We talked about the HTC Inspire 4G earlier this year when we included it in our roundup of 8 of the best new Android smartphones for 2011, then later wrote about how it was not HSUPA enabled which led to some disappointment. However we have heard of a great offer for this handset with news that the HTC Inspire 4G is currently being offered by RadioShack at only $29.99.

For a phone that was only released in February this strikes us as a great deal especially as more recently we told how a software update had been announced by AT&T for the HTC Inspire 4G giving that HSUPA capability that was missing. News of the great offer came to us from Zach Epstein over on BGR and the $29.99 deal is available on the usual 2-year contract for both existing and new AT&T customers.

As a brief recap specs include a 4.3-inch display, 1GHz processor, Android OS 2.2, Froyo and HTC’s Sense UI. This smartphone also features an 8-megapixel rear camera, 768MB of RAM and 4G of storage so it’s certainly a very decent all round handset. The deal lasts to May 21 so you have plenty of time to get down to your nearest RadioShack and take advantage of this offer.

If you want to find out more about specs and features for the HTC Inspire 4G head to its product page at AT&T here for details. Will you be taking advantage of this offer from RadioShack? Let us know with your comments.

Wow! What a bargain. Anyone know if the Android data plans for AT&T are comparable with the Blackberry data plan? How much data to pay for? Thanks for the deal.
