HP New ProBook & EliteBook Notebooks & Tablet: Release & Price

We recently gave you news on the new HP Veer 4G smartphone and HP continues to be busy and has announced today 3 new products aimed at the enterprise market including 2 notebooks and a convertible tablet. They are the HP ProBook 5330m, the HP EliteBook 2560p and HP EliteBook 2760p and we have news for you on release dates and also prices.

First off the ProBook 5330m is a 13.3-inch laptop with backlit keyboard and SandyBridge Core i3 or i5 processors. It also has TPM circuitry and the option of Intel vPro processors and features Beats Audio, for the first time on an HP business system. This one is available now and the price starts at $800, according to Dana Wollman over on Engadget.

Next there’s the EliteBook 2560p notebook, a successor to the 12.1-inch 2540p. Screen size has increased to 12.5-inches and Sandy Bridge processors also feature along with built-in optical drive. The release date for this one is May 23 and prices start from $1,100.

Finally the EliteBook 2760p is a 12.1-inch convertible tablet, following on from the 2740p. This has Sandy Bridge Core i5 and i7 processor options and will be compatible with HP’s new DataPass pre-paid data service. It will also give you 5.5 hours of battery life and a stylus is included.
