Apple Named The Most valuable Brand In The World

With many new great devices in their range such as the iPad 2 Tablet PC and the new iMac 2011 it’s no wonder that Apples popularity has grown ten-fold, even the little problems that pestered the launch of the iPad 2 have had no effect on the company’s growth within the market.

Following its great success with products like this it comes as no surprise that Apple has just been named the most valuable brand in the world, this top spot for the last four years has been held by Google.

These results come courtesy of the annual BrandZ study which keeps tracks on the world’s top 100 brands, according to this post from Mobiletoday the computer giants have increased their brand value by 84% to a whopping $153 billion. This has left Google trailing slightly behind as they lost 2% but are still touting a very impressive value of $111.5 billion.

Although these two companies are at the top spot there have also been some impressive growths amongst other brands as well, according to Bloomberg Social networking giant Facebook has grown by 246% in value. This leaves it sitting as the 35th most valuable brand with an estimated value of $19.1 billion, you can read more on this by heading over to Bloomberg here.
