Facebook & YouTube Take Part In X Factor May 17th Auditions

Facebook and YouTube are two of the most popular sites across the internet each offering their own attributes, but if something else was added into the equation, would this up the user numbers even more? We are talking about the inclusion of TV show X Factor and the chance for people to now send in their auditions online.

The TV show which initially took over from Pop Idol in the UK, sees a huge number audition by singing their hearts out against other contestants to then get voted off by the judges. As the show progresses, the numbers are then whittled down, with the public voting people off each week which then results in a grand final where one lucky contestant can win a record contract.

Now it seems according to mirror.co.uk, wannabes who think they have what it takes to become famous, will now be able to film themselves and upload them to one of the two sites. But you need to be quick as the deadline is May 17th.

The judges will then be able to look at the acts and make a decision from there. The show which has seen many stars including Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke and the most recent Matt Cardle and that’s just in the UK, will now be reaching its eighth series which will start on our screens in June.
