Samsung Exhibit on T-Mobile: 4G Phone Push Continues

-Mobile is continuing its 4G phone push and just recently we’ve seen newly-released and upcoming handsets, such as the LG G2X, the Sidekick 4G and the myTouch 4G Slide. Today we’ve heard details of another new 4G phone set to come to T-Mobile, the Samsung Exhibit 4G.

It has been leaked with the reference Samsung T759 but Exhibit 4G is believed to be the name it will be released with. It’s another decent looking smartphone running on the latest Android OS, 2.3 Gingerbread and news of this handset comes to us from Tmo News. There are also some leaked images, two of which you can see here, with more at the Tmo link.

Unconfirmed specs so far include a 3.7-inch AMOLED display with 480 x 800 resolution, a 1.4GHz ARM11 processor, VGA front-facing camera with 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with video capture of 720p. All, of course with that 4G capability for the T-Mobile HSPA+ network. T-Mobile appears to be firing on all cylinders at the moment with notable 4G handsets. There’s no news on a release date yet but this is one we’ll be keeping our eyes on and we’ll bring you more as and when.

Gizmo Crave also reports on the Exhibit 4G and notes it’s a replacement for the Samsung Vibrant and thinks the earliest we could hear about an announcement for the Exhibit is May 21 at a Samsung event.
