NewlyWeds William & Kate: US First Visit Announced On Twitter

It’s hard to believe that a week ago, the biggest wedding of this year took place at Westminster Abbey, yes that’s right the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. We gave you news as it came in leading up to the big day, as well as reporting on it afterwards. As expected, social networking sites, TV, radio and so on were completely transfixed by the royal occasion. In the past we have been keen to share with you news of celebrities, footballers, pop icons, news of events and so on, that at some point make their way to networking site Twitter.

Now with the 29th April been and gone, we can now give you news that the royal couple that will go by the official name of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, have announced their first royal visit and it will be to the US as well as Canada. Following on from a short statement on popular site Twitter, the newlyweds have given fans dates of when they will be going there.

According to forbes.com, the married couple will combine their visit to California, America between July 8th to July 10th with a tour of Canada. It was also reported that this will be the first official engagement to the US for the Duke of Cambridge or Prince William as he will no doubt be referred to for some time, and for the Duchess this will be the first time she has visited America.
