HTC Sensation 4G US Release News: One Step Closer

There’s been a lot of enthusiasm about the HTC Sensation and we’ve been keeping you up to date with the latest developments, including the new keyboard with Swype style features, some U.K release details, and a comparison with the Sony Ericsson Neo. The exact date for the HTC Sensation 4G U.S release has not been confirmed but today it looks as though it’s one step closer.

The Sensation 4G is coming to T-Mobile with the release date thought to be around June 8 and now we hear that it has cleared the FCC so T-Mobile will be able to proceed with release plans for the U.S. The news come to us from Jerry Hildenbrand of Android Central, sourced from FCC. The official number for the HTC Sensation is HTC PG58100 which is not the number for the HTC Doubleshot, (now the myTouch 4G Slide also coming to T-Mobile), as some have speculated.

FCC documents also show the existence of both rear and front cameras and WiFi and Bluetooth radios as expected. Richard Lai over on Engadget also reports on the HTC Sensation clearing the FCC and tells how the only question still not answered about the phone is whether it will come with Sense 3.0. Are you waiting for the release of the HTC Sensation on T-Mobile? If so, what has made you choose this handset over the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S II, also coming to the U.S soon? Let us know with your comments.
