MyTouch 4G Slide on T-Mobile Specs: Dual Core 1.2 & 3D leaks

There have been some great handsets coming to T-Mobile recently, such as the LG G2x, the Sidekick 4G and even rumors that T-Mobile may be getting the Apple iPhone. Today though we have some leaked specs news on another upcoming smartphone, the myTouch 4G Slide on T-Mobile and it looks as though it will have a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and also features 3D.

The myTouch 4G Slide, alternatively known as the HTC Doubleshot, will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8660 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with an Adreno 220 GPU. There will also be 768MB of RAM, a 3.7-inch WVGA LCD display and an 8-megapixel rear camera as well as a front-facing camera, according to Gabe Peters over on PocketNow sourced from 911Sniper.

A point that will prove interesting to many of you is that the rear camera will provide 720p/1080p video recording in 3D and it seems that it may also provide 1080p 3D video recording whereas previous 3D devices recorded at 720p in 3D. PocketNow also reports the possibility of a 3D screen and of course the handset will support the HSPA+ 4G network of T-Mobile.

Chris Chavez on Phandroid also reports on the specs of the myTouch 4G Slide and notes this looks like a mighty fine follow-on to the myTouch 3G Slide and even mentions the word “superphone” so we’re not the only ones to be impressed. There are no photos available yet but you can be sure we’ll be sharing them with you once available and we’re even wondering if this could rival the upcoming HTC Sensation? What are your thoughts? Let us know with your comments.
