The Royal Wedding According to Celebrities on Twitter

The Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton is the subject on everybody’s lips today with the big event of course, taking place tomorrow. Earlier today we told how David Beckham, superstar footballer had posted a message about the special day on Facebook and now we have news on thoughts about the Royal Wedding according to celebrities using Twitter.

Victoria Beckham for example, tweeted, “London looks beautiful!!!we are so proud to be British! X VB x,” according to Ann Gripper over on the Mirror. Meanwhile Wayne Rooney, who only started his Twitter account last week, tweeted a picture of himself but this time looking slightly different and wearing a Prince William mask, which some might say is an improvement!

CNN host Piers Morgan, reflecting on the fact that the invitation to the wedding for the Syrian ambassador Sami Khiyami had been withdrawn tweeted, “I’m available to replace Syrian Ambassador at the wedding. #selflesssacrifice.” Meanwhile funny man Jimmy Carr tweeted wittily, “Wedding guests received an etiquette guide so they know what’s appropriate to say & do. Meanwhile it’s probably fair to say that Royal Wedding fever has stirred up more positive sentiment than usual for the Royal Family. Sky News has been conducting a survey using Twitter and so far has polled more than 2,000 people. 70% of those tweeters were in favour of the monarchy while 30% voted for a change.
