Sony S1 & S2 PlayStation Certified Tablet PCs: Video Released

Most of the world is now aware of the issues that Sony currently face with the PSN being hacked but that hasn’t stopped them going ahead and revealing two super cool tablet PCs that the market has been crying out for.

We already know that Apple has dominated the tablet PC market up until now where we are seeing the rise of Android, even more so now that they have released Android Honeycomb 3.0 that has been optimized for tablets. We recently talked to you about a pair of new machines from Sony codenamed S1 & S2 which are PlayStation certified tablet PCs and now they have had a teaser video released.

Both devices look pretty special, the S1 is specially designed to be wedge shaped to allow better use whilst on a flat surface and the S2 is one of the first clam shell designs. This will no doubt set off a chain reaction of followers much like Apple did when they first entered their iPad.

We learned of the video through Rue Liu of Slashgear where he talks about some of the specs of the pair of Sony tablets that were mentioned in our previous article by Maddy Rowe. As always, head to the bottom of the article to watch the video.
