How To Measure Your Facebook Page Activity

When it comes to social networking and social media, Facebook is the one that is at the forefront of most people’s minds as it’s the biggest and most widely used of all of them. Whilst it might be great to sit and watch your fan base growing by the day that doesn’t really tell you a lot about how much they check your page out.

You might be busting a gut by adding 20+ new articles to your page without people reading them so you need to start looking at how to measure your Facebook page activity effectively. We read an article over at by their author Nick O’Neill who gives some good advice on how to monitor the activity.

Facebook has been extremely helpful and added something to help you gage your Facebook activities. You have to do it using their Facebook Insights tool where you can monitor various different aspects of your page including New Likes, Lifetime Likes and Monthly Active Users.

One of the other points that they make that is of interest is about the Top Stories, this allows you to pin point an individual post and look at how the data stacks up on it. If you were to check say 5 or 6 posts of different varieties then you can gage what your audience is reading more and what they like to comment on. We would urge you all to head over to and read through the other points made by them as they are all pretty valid and will in turn help you develop your brand on Facebook.
