Toshiba 10.1 Regza: Price & Release Date For Japan

We all know that the tablet PC market is now booming especially as more and more different manufacturers are adding their own creation to it. The previously dead market revitalized by the Apple iPad and now tablet PCs are pretty sought after.

Some of the creations that we have seen released in recent times include the successor in the Apple series the iPad 2, the Motorola Xoom running on Android 3.0 and of course the new thinnest tablet PCs in the world from Samsung in the 8.9 and 10.1 models. Now we have another one to tell you a bit about, it’s called the Toshiba 10.1 Regza and it now as a price and release date for Japan.

With some pretty funky specs, this guy could actually make an impact on the market as and when it hits Europe and the US. We learned that it will be appearing in June through Engadget’s Thomas Ricker where he has also let on some specs from the official Toshiba website.

Some of the specs and features that you can expect to see with it are a 5 megapixel rear facing camera, USB ports, HDMI ports, the Tegra 2 chip and of course it will be running on the Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS and is commanding a price of ¥60,000 equating to around $723.
