Toshiba ANT: Tablet Named After Formicidae – Price Revealed

The tablet PC market has completely evolved following the introduction of the Apple iPad. Before it was made and put into the market, tablet PCs had become something that people had rendered pretty much useless, the market wasn’t booming like it is today.

Now we have heard about another tablet PC through Engadget’s Darren Murph. This one looks to have been named after the formicidae and is called the Toshiba ANT, not only that but it’s had its prices revealed. Let’s have a look at what we know already.

It will be running Android’s latest OS that has been developed especially for tablet PCs Honeycomb 3.0 which seems to be a benchmark for tablets now. There are a few more too, this guy has a dual-core processor, an NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip and a multi-touch 10.1” capacitive display. There are three models that we can see at the moment; one has 8GB, another at 16GB and the last at 32GB.

As told over on newegg.com the prices are as follows, the 8GB model is at $449.99, the 16GB one is at $499.99 and finally the 32GB has a tag of $579.99. These tablets are pretty impressive with their rear and front facing cameras amongst the specifications which you can read more of on this link.
