T-Mobile LG G2x Nvidia Tegra-2 Smartphone: Officially On Sale Now

When it comes to making that all important decision as to what mobile phone you should buy, then the list is endless. Once you have decided whether to buy the handset as a standalone price or on contract, then there’s of course the issue of which carrier to go with, what specifications are paramount to you and additional features that are just a bonus and so on. The arrival of mobile phones is constantly changing, in recent weeks we have reported on the HTC Thunderbolt, the Droid Charge, Bionic, Galaxy S II, Atrix 4G, HTC Sensation which are all on their way and another, that of the iPhone 5 are all big names.

Another to add to the listing is that of the LG G2x being carried on T-Mobile, a phone which Debbie here at OSM spoke about just a short time ago along with the Samsung Sidekick 4G. The LG G2x has been compared to the Optimus 2X and is available to buy online from today, with the option to buy in store from the 20th April. As Slashgear reported, the phone running on Android Froyo will be priced at a reasonable $199.99 with a $50 mail-in rebate along with a 2-year data plan.

In terms of specifications, the G2x will include a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen, 4G HSPA connectivity, dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip, 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and so on.
