Angry Birds Flies In On Windows Phone 7

When it comes to mobile gaming there aren’t too many that reach the popularity of Angry Birds, many are attempting to emulate the success that Rovio has seen with its series of games. We have seen a number of different versions and all sorts of crazy Angry Birds things since their hit game hit the iPhone. Now we can inform you that Angry Birds are flying onto Windows Phone 7.

The different versions we have reported on previously include the latest version of Rio that features characters from the latest film and not a pig in sight! We also talked to you about various versions of Angry Birds Seasons such as the St.Patrick’s day edition and even the plans to be able to play it on Facebook. Rovio’s Angry Birds even won an award at the Appy Awards 2011!

We learned of this through BGR’s Todd Haselton where he has informed us that the hit game will be available on WP7 starting out on May 25th leaving one popular OS without the popular game… That’s right, the BlackBerry. We have seen a rip off version but not the true Angry Birds which makes us wonder just why not?

The original source for this was AllThingsDigital and we are wondering what the price of the app will be as that wasn’t mentioned. Fingers crossed for free but it could be up to $0.99. Why do you guys think that BlackBerry still doesn’t have Rovio’s big hit Angry Birds? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
