HTC Sensation / Pyramid: Official Specs & Video

When it comes the world of mobile phones and mobile devices there’s plenty of focus on Apple and what they are up to, this is normal as they generally lead the market. Apple does something and then other manufacturers follow. Android are now hot on their heels in terms of technology with the varying versions of their OS for different manufactures.

One of those manufacturers that seem to be doing pretty well so far this year is HTC. They are peppering the market with different devices at different prices and their new one the HTC Sensation or as it was originally known Pyramid, has had its official specs released.

As we have already discussed this device pretty much matches the EVO 3D’s specs as told by Engadget’s Dana Wollman. Specifications include a dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor and a 4.3-inch Super LCD screen at a resolution of 540×960. The OS will be Android Gingerbread 2.3 although we expect this will be updated when Google release the latest one (believed to be Ice Cream or Ice Cream Sandwich).

Other specs that you can expect to find on the device is an internal phone storage of 1GB, 768MB of RAM, a Gyro Sensor, an 8 megapixel camera with a flash that is capable of 1080p HD video recording and a whole host of different types of connections. Read more about it over on the official press release from the HTC website.
