Steve Jobs Life Laid Out Through Autobiography: Coming 2012

Apple’s very own CEO Steve Jobs is to do an autobiography about his life which will be released early part of next year. Publishers Simon & Schuster have confirmed this along with its title which will read “iSteve: The Book of Jobs.”

Zdnet have reported that the book will be written by Walter Isaacson, an author who is well known for other autobiography titles such the life of Benjamin Franklin and Albert Einstein. So will a book about one of the most famous names in the tech world prove a success? Whatever opinion you hold, the guys at Simon & Schuster think it will be a big success, as they said, “This is the perfect match of subject and author, and it is certain to be landmark book about one of the world’s greatest innovators.” Just as he did with Einstein and Benjamin Franklin, Walter Isaacson is telling a unique story of revolutionary genius.”

As well as finding out more in-depth information about the main man, the author has managed to interview his family as well as those he has worked with, competitors and so on. As AppleInsider stated, although Steve Jobs has appeared in books already, this will be the first time that he will be happy to work alongside the authors and publishers.

So what has suddenly sparked Jobs interest in producing an autobiography? Some have said that it could be due to news of his ill health which has prompted him to do it, although it was only just last month that the CEO made an appearance at the iPad 2 launch event.

What are your thoughts on a Steve Jobs autobiography? Does it appeal to you? Let us know.
