Up to 5 users can connect and the device costs $79.99 on a two-year contract and was released on April 3 through Sprint Direct Ship but will be released in retail outlets on April 17 or at sprint.com. The news was brought to us from Andrew Munchbach over on BGR and includes a press release with more details. The Novatel Wireless MiFi 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot is aimed to provide support for all of a family’s requirements, or is equally as good for frequent travellers or a small business team.

Part of the press release reads, “Sprint brings customers the portability of the MiFi design with one-touch connectivity for up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices, including tablets, eReaders, laptops or gaming consoles.” The Mobile Hotspot comes preloaded with MiFi OS, widgets and app support and it will be simple to upgrade it with new widgets and applications.
