iPhone 5: No Home Button, Capacitive Button Instead?

When it comes to the Apple devices they tend to stay pretty secretive until they are actually released. You only have to look at the new Thunderbolt peripheral and the iPad 2 to realize that they don’t like to let on too many details.

There has been quite a lot of speculation as always about their new mobile handset that is expected to be announced any time between now and summer, the iPhone 5. We also added a report on the iPod Touch potential images which has prompted us to ask this question for the iPhone 5… Would you prefer no home button or a capacitive button?

So far we have already had confirmation from Apple (via the developers homepage) that this year’s WWDC event is all about the software and showcasing their new operating systems for the hardware such as the iPhone, iPad and the Mac.

As of now we are working purely on speculation but if the above image isn’t a fake, think about how close in terms of design the iPod Touch and the iPhone are. It would make sense to continue the trend don’t you think?

Would you like to see the iPhone 5 with a capacitive home button? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
