Cisco Goes Tiny With Linksys E-Series: Do You Want One?

We at OSM rarely report on routers and switches other than the recent article on a new netgear Femtocell that was shown at MWC 2011 by Mike Smith although today we have a few new devices to tell you about.

Engadget’s Richard Lai has added a report about Cisco’s tiny new Linksys E-Series and we want to know if you want one. They have a smooth sleek design and because they are so small may be what you are looking for. Linksys has a great reputation in the world of routers and if you live by them then perhaps it’s time for an upgrade.

The price range of the new devices are from $59.99 to $159.99 and with up to 300 Mbps and the dual-band support on the E2500 and the E3200, they are the two that are likely to hurt your wallet the most. As told by Richard Lai you also get the software in the box that helps with installation and management to make the whole deal a lot easier.

For further coverage and more information than you can shake a stick at, head over to the official Linksys/Cisco website. They explain each model and also provide different locations for your purchase. Check out the video at the bottom of the article that tells you about the features of each model.
