Dell Notebook Inspiron M102z: AMD Fusion E-350 Processor

Hot-on-the-hells of informing you about the Dell Inspiron R Series refresh we now have news for you of a new Dell notebook, the Inspiron M102z. This new notebook features the AMD E-350 1.6GHz processor and also Radeon HD 6310 graphics and is an extremely light and portable device, weighing 1.56 kg.

Adding to that there’s 4GB of RAM, which should be enough for your needs, and an 11.6-inch display with high resolution of 1366 x 768, all for $699, which seems a pretty decent price for the specs. One variant is a 1GHz processor model with half the amount of memory and the Radeon HD 6250 on the graphics side and that will set you back $599 by comparison, according to Tim Stevens over on Engadget, sourced from Notebook Hunter.

Alternatively if you want to record and watch TV on the notebook paying out $759 will buy you a model with built-in TV tuner, and there are also other upgrades on offer. The M102z is already available overseas in Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong according to Laptop Computer Planet, and it would appear from their article that the earlier prices we have quoted are actually Australian dollar prices. Engadget does say that the M102z will be coming to the U.S. “soon” though, so you may want to hold off your purchase of a new notebook until you’ve seen the M102z, which sounds highly impressive and has a lot of positives.

What are your thoughts on the Dell Inspiron M102z and is this a notebook you could be interested in purchasing? We’re interested to hear from you so please do send in your comments about this.
