HTC Thunderbolt: Patch Update Fix Needed For New & Existing Problems

The highly sought after HTC Thunderbolt running on Verizon’s 4G LTE network released some 3 weeks ago now, has come with mixed reaction. No doubt many of you are pleased with your purchase, but is this the case for everybody? Since its arrival, we have brought you news and had feedback through our viewers of subsequent problems with sending of and receiving of text messages, news of the 4G draining all of the battery life and issues with mobile hotspot and now it seems there are more problems that need to be rectified.

Today, it seems a percentage of you have made reference to glitches with the 3G data and inadequate audio sound when using the recording feature, as Alan over at PR News stated, it almost sounds muffled.

In relation to the SMS message saga and reports of a bug causing the issues, it was hoped that the big red and HTC would be fixing the problem as soon as possible, as lets face it, many of you had a while to wait for the handset to release. It seems that yes the 2 companies are aware of the fresh problems with news of a patch update coming to fix them, let’s hope this will rectify all issues.     Hey, anyone having problems of your camcorder stopping mid-recording? mine goes to about 30 sec and then cuts the recording off?

      Try reset to default inside the camera/camcorder app.

    Had the 3G issues. VZW tech support instructed me to do a hard reset. That fixed the problem.
