Verizon Release Rumor for Droid Bionic, Incredible 2 & Many More
If you’ve been waiting for a release date for one of the upcoming smartphones coming to Verizon then we have news for you. A leaked Verizon roadmap details releases for many different handsets, including those with 4G LTE such as the Motorola Droid Bionic, the Incredible 2 and many more. Although the roadmap says “dates subject to change” on it, at least it gives us a good idea of when we can expect them.
We have previously heard speculation about release dates for some of these handsets which may differ from these and we cannot confirm the validity of this leaked roadmap, which comes to us from Kevin Krause over on Phandroid, nevertheless read on if you want to find out more.

April releases listed are the Casio Commando, an Android waterproof phone for April 7. Also on April 7 is the release of the Samsung Droid Charge, a 4G Android handset. April 14 is the release date for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play while on April 15 comes the HTC Trophy, a Windows Phone 7 handset. April 28 should see a lot of activity at Verizon stores with the release of the HTC Droid Incredible 2.

Moving into May we see a release date of May 5 for the LG Revolution, a 4G Android phone, and the last few on the roadmap merely have a May release listing without a specific date. Those are the much-awaited Motorola Droid Bionic, a 4G Android, the Motorola Droid X 2, a 4G Android, and finally the Samsung Galaxy S II, wait for it, a 4G Android. Earlier today we told how the specs were now official for the Samsung Galaxy S II but that it looked like AT&T would carry it unless Verizon was getting a 4G version, and this would seem to confirm that LTE version for Verizon.
There is the chance that those last three could be coming after May as they have no specific date but we know how greatly anticipated the Droid Bionic and Galaxy S II are so let’s hope May is accurate. As many of these are 4G phones for the Verizon 4G LTE network you may want to check if your area is covered which you can do at this webpage here.
What are your thoughts on this release leak from Verizon? Which handset is the one that you’re waiting for, if any? Let us know with your comments.
