Jackie Chan Dead Hoax: April Fool’s Day Prank Trends In Twitter

We have seen some pretty bad death hoaxes in recent times including the one that circulated on Facebook and Twitter about Justin Bieber and in his recent media attention Charlie Sheen. We mentioned in a previous article about removing malware.

The most recent one is different; it’s about the martial arts film star Jackie Chan. The Jackie Chan Dead hoax is an April fool’s day prank that has hit the trends in Twitter and swept through the Internet like wildfire.

There are plenty of things like this that happen every day and the worst ones are those that are of people in the limelight. Jackie Chan has been promoting one of his new films, which is the new addition to the Karate Kid series of movies.

The guys at ‘The Independent’ are clarifying that this is just a trend that is occurring in Twitter and in turn throughout the rest of the Internet. There’s also a message that has been posted on the movie star’s Facebook page that says “Jackie is alive and well. He did not suffer a heart attack and die, as was reported on many social networking sites and in online news reports – Jackie is fine and is busy preparing for the filming of his next movie.”
