HTC EVO 3D: European Release – Twitter Confirmation

In the last little while HTC has been getting some media attention in recent times with the HTC EVO 3D. We have already provided a report on the UI being revamped by the HTC developers for the EVO 3D as well as giving you the Sprint official release date with specifications of this bad boy.

Now we have some more news for you, the HTC EVO 3D will be getting a European release as we have had confirmation Twitter via a couple sources. Engadget’s Vlad Savov has compiled an amusing report essentially saying that the device will be hitting France as per a French HTC tweet. He says that the device will definitely be hitting the land of the baguette however we aren’t quite sure on when this will be happening.

We are wondering how the battery will perform which is a similar concern of Slashgear, this device has 3D capabilities and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor which will undoubtedly eat up a heck of a lot of juice. Mike Smith of OSM previously detailed the specifications of HTC’s new baby but let’s just have a quick recap.

As we mentioned before it has a dual-core processor running at 1.2GHz, a dual-5 megapixel set of cameras on the back, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and 1730mAh battery. It also has the ability to switch between 2D and 3D modes on the 4.3-inch touch screen that runs at 960×540, not only that but it will start off on Android Gingerbread 2.3.
