New Pioneer Headphones: Extreme Noise Cancelling At A Price

At OSM we have been keeping up with some of the new sets of headphones hitting the market, we have seen the new zip ear buds to try and beat tangled cables, the new AGK Kleer Bluetooth headphones and of course the new ones from Philips that are offering you ultra comfort.

Today we have learned of a new set through Slashgear’s Shane McGlaun, they are the new Pioneer headphones that have some extreme noise cancelling capabilities. These ones are the in-ear buds with a nice design and all the advantages of any normal set of buds and more.

The model number is SE-NC31C-K and according to the official Pioneer website they can cancel out up to 90% of ambient noises leaving you to enjoy your music. Pioneer who are famed for their high quality sounds in stereos and car audio systems have added a monitor switch so you can change from your music to no sound and hear what’s going on around you.

These buds are unusual because they have not only the monitor switch but also, that switch is on a little box that houses a single AAA battery that lasts for up to 120 hours. It has a cord length of 1.4m and sensitivity of 103 ohms (on)/105 ohms (off). To read all about them use this link and you can see their brochure in PDF format. One final note, if you are interested in these bad boys then they will set you back $99 and they are available now.
