HTC UI Gets Revamp After HTC Evo 3D Launch At CTIA

Following on from the latest announcement at CTIA 2011 by Sprint and HTC of their two new devices the Evo 3d and the HTC Evo View 4G, it would seem that that HTC have given their worn down Sense UI somewhat of a revamp.

This update adds some many new features to these devices and totally changes the look and feel of these new pieces of kit, so far we have only seen this being demoed on the Evo 3D, if you check you the video embedded below you can see this in action.

The guys over at Pocket-Lint have also noticed this change to the Sense UI and have come up with a pretty detailed post about this update, you can check out their post in full by following this link here.

These new features include a number of improvements to the old UI, these improvements are a brand new lock screen-this allows users to access apps from the lock screen by dragging them into a circle located at the bottom of the display. Quick settings does exactly what it says-users can have quick access to the devices settings by dragging down the notifications bar from the top of the screen.

The major update that stands out more than the others would have to be the new animations between the tiles on the homepage, when scrolling left and right its gives the illusion of a 3D cube spinning, you can check all these features by following the link above to Pocket-Lint.

What are your thoughts on this new UI? Is this something you would like to see on your handset?
