Cobra Phone Tag Unleashed At CTIA

As CTIA 2011 has kicked off were sure to see many handy little gadgets come our way, in order for a gadget to last in the market place it has to be useful and have a customer need. This is where the Cobra Phone Tag comes into its element.

At first glance you could mistake this strange looking device for some sort of bottle opener, it is in fact a device that can be used to locate any personal property that you may have lost.

If you have ever been in a situation where you have misplaced your keys or mobile phone-quite possibly you’re not the only one as this happens to us on a weekly basis, then the Phone Tag would save you time and effort in relocating them.

This device works by using Bluetooth and partners up with an Android or BlackBerry smartphone application, according to this post from Slashgear it can be used in two ways, the user can activate the Tag’s integrated alarm system with the supporting app so you can find the location of whatever the Tag is attached to, or you can activate the apps built in alarm Using the Tag to locate your lost mobile.

Along with these two functions the device will also alarm if you’re mobile and Tag are separated from each other, this will then send the GPS coordinates and the time of separation via email or text to a preselected contact list.

For those just as interested in this device as we are, you can expect to get your hands on it at some point in July, according to Cobra’s website you can expect to pay $59.99 for the Tag.
