Asus Eee 1015B & 1215B Netbooks On Sale: Offical Prices & Specs

Whilst the tablet is ever expanding with the likes of the iPad 2, Xoom or PlayBook, have we ever really just sat back and wondered if they are really a necessity or just a fashion statement? Surely there must be other devices out there that can do just the same if not similar functions a slate can do? Whatever opinion you may hold, 2 new netbooks from Asus which we reported on back at the start of this month have now received official pricing and are available to buy.

The 2 Fusion based netbooks by the name of the 1015B and 1215B are both set to release next month and come packed with a pretty great spec listing. For those of you who didn’t catch our initial posting, then we will re-literate what you will be getting for your money.

Firstly as Engadget stated, in terms of what the 1015B model will receive, we can tell you that both will receive as mentioned the AMD Fusion processor, 10-inch display, 1.2GHz AMD C-30 single core processor, AMD Radeon 6250 graphics with 1080p playback, 1GB of RAM along with a 250GB hard drive and so on for a mere $289 price label.

If this doesn’t get your vote but the bigger 1215B does, then you will get a bigger 12-inch display, 1GHz AMD C50 dual-core processor, Radeon HD 6250 graphics with 1080p playback, 1GB RAM, 250GB hard drive, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB, HDMI ports for a slightly higher price of $379.
