Acer Picasso: Spotted At CTIA – Do You Like It?

As we know there are loads of different tablet PCs on the market at the moment, back and CES 2011 more than 50 were showcased and since then we have seen more and more joining the party. Recent entries have seen the Apple iPad 2 and the two new models from Samsung that we have seen at CTIA.

Now we have caught wind of another one that is appearing at the event, it’s made by Acer who is quickly finding their path in the mobile world; it’s called the Acer Picasso. Another device that they have in their repertoire was reported on by OSMs Mike Smith and it’s named the Acer Iconia W500 where we informed you of the price and some of the finer details of the converting tablet.

Over at Slashgear their author Shane McGlaun has compiled a report on the device where he says the Android Honeycomb is intended for the tablet however it will not be shipping with it pre-installed. When it does eventually get it that will make it the first Android tablet on AT&T. It looks pretty similar to the A500 that we reported on earlier but we aren’t sure if this is the same device or not.

There’s another report over at by Chris Burn where they have managed to get a hands-on with the new Acer machine, there’s a whole bunch of images so head on over and have a peek at them and also check out the video at the bottom of the article. Unless this one comes in at a significantly lower price than all of the other tablets on the market then they may struggle for revenue.

What do you think of this tablet so far, will it sell? Let us know in the comments section below.
