Xperia Play Shows Up On Vodafone UK Pre-Order Page

Here at OSM we have done all we can to keep you up to date with all the latest news about the Xperia Play, we reported on its announcement, its specs and now finally we can bring some information on its pre-order status after turning up on Vodafone UK’s website.

This device is set to be one of the biggest mobile gaming devices of the year, for all you eager gamers out there Vodafone will be shipping this handset with six games which include The Sims 3, Tetris, Fifa 2010, Crash Bandicoot, Star Battalion and Bruce Lee.

According to Engadget this handset will become available to all Vodafone UK customers on April 1st, for those choosing to take this device on a 24 month contract they can expect to get the Xperia Play for free, this option will mean forking out £35 a month.

The Xperia Play is not the only Sony Ericsson up for offer, according to T3 the Xperia Arc has also made an appearance on the Vodafone pre-order page, £35 a month for the Play gets you 900 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data. To get your hands on the Arc you will be looking at £30 a month which gives you 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.
