Sony F Series 3D Vaio Laptop: Coming March 25th For $2000

With all of the attention surrounding the release of the iPad 2, you still have to remember there are another huge range of tech goodies coming out this year. We have had our eyes on Sony’s F Series Vaio Laptop for a while, and now know the release date and price.

Sony has confirmed on their official website that their flagship laptop will be launched on March 25th for a whopping $1999.99. The F series laptop is available to pre-order now, directly from Sony themselves or from a number of other retailers such as Expansys, where an instant $220 saving can be made. Sony typically charge more than retailers so it will be worth shopping around for deals and offers.

Naturally the main feature of the device is its 3D technology; however active shutter glasses are required to enjoy the viewing experience. We assume there is a pair included but if your new laptop is a thing you wish to share then you will end up forking out another £99 per pair. A great feature on the F series is the ability to switch between 2D and 3D mode with the push of a button.

Other specs include a 640GB hard drive, extremely powerful Intel® Core™ i7-2720QM processor, Blu-ray disc drive, Wi-Fi and HDMI output. The laptop runs on Windows 7, with plenty more details being available by visiting Sony Style. This laptop looks the business but it comes with a hefty price tag. There is not long to wait until its release, will you put your hand in your pocket and get one?
