HTC Big Up The Thunderbolt: Are They Right To?

The HTC Thunderbolt has gone on sale in a few different locations such as Best Buy, Verizon and of course the cheapest place at the moment is Amazon Wireless. That being the case there’s been a heck of a lot of hype surrounding this device both before and after its release.

Part of the hype prior to the release was because there was some crazy confusion over the actual release date of the device. Now we are hearing that HTC are ‘biggin’ up their Thunderbolt device and we are wondering… Are they right to?

We found an article over on Engadget by Vlad Savov where he is asking the readers about the design of the device and what they think of it so far. We have added a video that HTC added to YouTube where they are talking about the design behind the product. They talk a little about the device and how they came to the final design.

You can read about the behind the scenes of the video over on PhonesReview where they are also talking a bit about what some of the average speeds people are receiving on the 4G network. We would say that these would have to be done a few more times as they have a lot more people waiting to get the device. As things stand the network they are running on will have a lot of space for other users and therefore the speeds you would think would reduce from what they are today.

What do you think of the device so far? What speeds are you hitting today with your HTC Thunderbolt? Let us know in the comments section below.
