Are you in the market for a new laptop? If so we have news that may interest you today in the form of the Dell Inspiron R series. The refreshed range consists of the 14R, 15R and 17R, which have 14-inch, 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch screens respectively and have design leanings towards the XPS line.

If you wish you can have your choice configured with the latest Sandy Bridge Core i3, i5 and i7 processors and all models have chiclet keyboards and HD webcams. You can also choose up to 8GB of RAM and six or nine-cell batteries along with USB 3.0 ports. The 14R will have AMD Radeon HD 6000M graphics whilst the 15R and 17R feature NVIDIA’s GeForce GT525, according to Joanna Stern over on Engadget, sourced from Dell.

If you’re a fan (or not) of Dell’s patterned and colored lids you’ll be pleased to know that the lids are now interchangeable so you can opt for a new SWITCH by Design Studio lid if you’re willing to pay for it.
