HTC Thunderbolt Price: Amazon Cheaper Than Verizon

The HTC Thunderbolt has been at the centre of attention for a lot of people in recent times, we have provided several updates including the prices at Best Buy and Verizon. Not only that but we have also reported on the prices of the accessories including the battery, dock and a few others.

Now we have some news for all you excited Thunderbolt fans, there’s somewhere else you can get it and it’s the cheapest out of all of them. Amazon has undercut the competition and are offering the device priced at $179.99 as oppose to Verizon and Best Buy’s $249.99.

Over at PRNews Alan Ng has compiled a report and says you get the device on the same 2-year contract you would get from Verizon and Best Buy it’s simply a reduction in the price of the device. He also mentions that Amazon aren’t any strangers to undercutting the competition in the past, although this was an unexpected move from them.

There’s an extensive description of the device and its capabilities over on the AmazonWireless website where if they are still in stock you can order yours from. Going by the hype of this smartphone we don’t expect the stock to last very long.
