Samsung Series 9 Laptop: Massive Price – Is It Worth It?

Samsung are making strides in the world of technology with their TVs and the new range of tablet PCs that they have. There’s now the Samsung Galaxy Tab which has been out for a while, the Samsung 8.9 and 10.1 tablets which are both on the horizon.

Now they have a new laptop on the way and it’s called the Samsung Series 9, it brings with it a massive price and we are wondering if it’s worth it. There’s currently quite a bit of competition in the laptop world especially with Sony releasing its new Vaio ranges so how will this one compete?

It has some pretty good specs with a 13.3-inch LED backlit display, a super fast 128GB SSD hard drive, 4GB of RAM and an Intel Core i5-2537M processor running at 1.4GHz. As reported by Engadget’s Vlad Savov, just from the few mentioned specs they are pretty high like the price of $1,649.

We particularly like the design of this super-thin bad boy and some of us at OSM wouldn’t mind getting our hands on it with its 6 hours worth of battery life. If this is the laptop that you are after then you can pre-order it now on this link, it shouldn’t be too long until the delivery man is darkening your doorstep.

What do you think of the design of the Samsung Series 9? Will you be picking one of them up? Let us know in the comments section below.

It will all come down to battery life…no matter how portable it is if the battery life isn't at least a
real 5-6 hours min,,,it will go the way of the junk yard…but if the battery life is there the price wont
    matter as apple has proved.

i like it, also that is runs the i5 compared to old duocore in apple airbook. I now own an airbook from 2008 (first series). But now actually think about getting the samsung. I like the black design & core i5.
