Lexar SDXC Cards 64GB & 128GB Release & Price Details

Way back in January we brought you some news about two upcoming Lexar Professional Class 10 SDXC cards with capacities of 64GB and a whopping 128GB. These memory cards looked extremely promising although the prices being touted back then seemed rather prohibitive. Now we have more news on their release and much more reasonable prices.

These new SDXC (Secure Digital Extended Capacity) memory cards promised speeds of 133x, 20MB per second and we were originally informed that they would be released in the first half of the year at prices of $399.99 for the 64GB and $699 for the 128GB. However we now have news that these notable cards are now being shipped and have revised prices which seem cheap by comparison. They will now cost $199.99 for the 64GB version and $329.99 for the 128B, according to Vlad Savov over on Engadget, sourced from Lexar.

These high-speed performances SDXC cards, ideal for professional photographers and videographers, also come with a limited lifetime warranty and free technical support. They are now available from lexar.com and B&H Photo and Video and also Adorama Camera stores in the U.S. For the full Lexar press release head to the Engadget link above.
