Foursquare For Blackberry: Beta Updated To v1.9.77

Recently we brought you a post about the Foursquare app update on Apple’s IOS and Android OS, this may have left some Blackberry users a little disheartened as they did not receive an update, it now it appears the Foursquare beta app has been updated to v1.9.77.

According to Crackberry.com this update is available in the Blackberry App World and can be downloaded here, alternatively it can be downloaded via your handsets browser by going to this website-http://foursquare.com/blackberry/beta, this update brings some bug fixes as well as some great new features.

Among the many bug fixes users will notice an improvement to the data connection when connecting via https, improved speed for rendering the dashboard screen and fixes to the profile photo upload and add friend’s features. So what new features can we expect to see?

In a post from Pocketberry it says users can expect to see many new features such as, a new trophy case where you can view all of your badges, an improved friends dashboard that now shows if the check-in has any photos or comments, the ability to add comments to a friend’s check-in, plus a few more which you can read about by following this link to Pocketberry.com.

This update is still in beta so it may not be completely bug free but don’t let that put you off from trying it, if you’re going to download and try this app we would be interested to know how you got on.
