HTC Thunderbolt Ignites Pre-Orders Before March 17th Shipments

For many of you who have been waiting for confirmation of HTC’s Thunderbolt, there is no doubt you would have read the countless suggestions as to when it will finally land.

Well since our earlier post from today which indicated that the highly sought after device will be coming on Thursday, news has picked up pace. We already assumed that a shipment date was well on the cards after Verizon’s official store starting to display accessories such as a car dock.

Just a little while ago, Phandroid com reported on WireFly now taking pre-orders for the Thunderbolt, commencing tonight/tomorrow morning from 3 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) at a retail price of $249.99. Following on from this, shipping will then start from Thursday 17th March.

If you click onto WireFly’s official Thunderbolt page, you will be able to access more details with an up-to-date status of the handset. Information we have been able to obtain from Androidspin.com has reported that on pre-ordering your Thunderbolt, there will no inclusion of the Skype feature, but 40GB of overall storage along with voice and data transferral.

Is this news you have been waiting for and if so, will you be pre-ordering yours from 3 AM?
