Cyber Snipa Sonar 5.1: PC Gaming Headset Price

At OSM we have been looking at various gaming equipment and trying to work out if actually makes you a better gamer or not? Most of the tools of the trade that we have looked at have been manufactured by Razer, things like the Naga Epic wireless gaming mouse, the classic DeathAdder with different designs, we have even looked at a few different console control pads.

Now we are going to have a peek at a device that was on display at CES 2011 and it’s called the Cyber Snipa Sonar 5.1 and it’s a PC gaming headset that has a pretty decent price. The most comparable model from Razer will set you back around $199 and it isn’t even out yet in the Chimera 5.1.

The headset has a pretty cool design and as Slashgear’s Shane McGlaun says in his article, there are four speakers in each ear cup where you can actually adjust the volume of each one individually. How do you do that? Well as shown on the video at the bottom of the article there’s a little remote control on the cable and you can even turn on and off the boom microphone.

These bad boys look to offer you comfort whilst you are gaming as they have memory foam around your ears which will also help to keep the sounds from escaping. Head on over to their official website to read more about the technical specifications and then if you want a set, you can pick yours up for an astonishing $79.95.

What do you think of this headset? If you had a choice between this one and the Razer Chimera, which would you go with? Let us know in the comments section below.
