So all of you Call Of Duty: Black Ops players are probably a little frustrated that the PlayStation network is down and you are probably wondering why. Well it’s down for scheduled maintenance but we know that there will be an update coming through for your PS3 tomorrow that they are probably testing.
As we mentioned in a previous article by OSM’s Debbie Turner, the update for your PlayStation 3 will include cloud storage on PlayStation Plus and Engadget’s Vlad Savov says that PS Plus subscription is finally worth having as they there is now online storage for game saves. You can expect to see this in tomorrow’s update to v3.60 of the PS3 firmware and when you have the update you will then have 150MB of storage on Sony’s cloud.
Ok so 150MB isn’t a massive amount of space but then again the save files aren’t all that big, but of course the biggest feature here is the fact that you will be able to put your PSN network details in and continue your games on any PS3 anywhere in the world.
If you would like to read the ins and outs of the update then head over to the PlayStation blog where they tell you all about it. Keep an eye on this link tomorrow and the update will show when it’s available.
Do you like the thought of being able to access your saved game files from any PS3 anywhere in the world? Let us know in the comments section below.
