Jane Russell first made her film debut in 1943 in a film called ‘The Outlaw’, she died aged 89 and Twitter tributes will have propelled her into the 10th position. The 9th spot goes to the NBA which is down from 4th of last week. The news for them throughout the week has been the player trades that are going on along with some of the Miami Heat players getting nicknames.

In 7th spot McDonald’s because they have released a new seasonal menu item, it’s called the McLobster and is basically a lobster roll.

In the number 6 position was cumanNANYA, this is an Indonesian account that was asking people to choose between several options involving various subjects such as technology and pop culture, as Mashable says they were ‘just asking’. The 5th position goes to LMAOTwitpics, this saw amusing pictures with captions, crazy clothes and all sorts of other outrageous pictures. This kept Twitter users laughing!

Check out number 4, Soccer/Football. Up from 8th position mainly because of the Carling Cup final between Arsenal and Birmingham City where ‘The Blues’ came out on top to win their second major trophy in their history, well done to the Brummies. The trend in at number 3 is the 83rd Annual Academy Awards where a number of celebrities received awards from James Franco and Anne Hathaway who hosted the event.

Justin Bieber has managed to retain his spot in 2nd as he turned 17 and fans were wishing him a Happy Birthday. We aren’t sure if it helped with his Twitter status or not but there was also a funny YouTube video posted with a Justin Bieber rap battle courtesy of ‘Nice Peter’, it certainly made us laugh!

Top spot this week is that man Charlie Sheen, the actor gave lots of interviews on multiple TV and radio talk shows following the TV series that he starred in ‘Two & a Half Men’ ceasing production. Sheen also created a Twitter account which saw him receive more than 800,000 within 24 hours. In our eyes he is a sure bet unless something crazy happens to be in first or second spot next week.
