Back in January we reported on Samsung’s appearance at CES 2011 where they introduced us to their latest Series of LED TV’s. Since the show there has been a difference in opinion as to whether the new range is classed as a TV or a monitor.
Well as Engadget recently reported the new 950 and 750 Series are monitors with the ability to play TV via the optional TV tuner.
For both, come the addition of a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 2ms response time, while 1080p resolution also grace the pairs 27-inch 3D LED displays. Along with the 3D capabilities Samsung Tomorrow state that there is the added bonus of being able to play any of your 2D footage in 3D format.
Setting the TV’s apart is the styling department, the 950 is shrouded in a stylish asymmetric housing, while the 750 purely focuses on the extremely thin bezel to grab your attention.
Both sets are debuting first for the South Korean market with the rest of us seeing them on the shop floors later on this month. Prices are set for around the $800 mark for the 27TA950, with the 27TA750 coming in just below at $750.
Why not take a look at the pair and see which one catches your eye, personally I love the style of the 950 Series but give us your opinion.
