New Lenovo ThinkPad X220: Specs Revealed

When it comes to tablets and laptops of different shapes and sizes there are lots of different choices from Lenovo with the ThinkPad options. We have used a fair few of them including the x61, T60 and a whole heap of other ones too.

Now we are hearing through Engdaget’s Vlad Savov that the specs have been revealed the specs of the new x220 laptop. There is a PDF file on the Lenovo website that details about the new x220 which has some pretty impressive specs to go along with it.

The screen size of the device is 12.5” at a resolution of 1366×768, you can have up to a 2.7GHz Core i7-2620QM processor with a choice of SSDs up to 160GB and 8GB of DDR3 RAM. They also mention that it has a ‘buttonless’ touchpad but they have kept the physical buttons above the Trackpad. You can take a better look at the full specs by using this link to the PDF.

Also if you go with the i7 Core processor you will have USB 3.0 ports available to you too. There’s also another real selling point and that is its large amount of battery life, it has around the 15 hour marker but with the slim external battery pack it cranks it up to 23 hours. That makes it the perfect machine for people who perhaps might be field based representatives with large applications on their laptops.
