Verizon Online Offers $100 Saving On Droid Smartphone Lineup

Are you in the market for a new smartphone and possibly thinking of switching over to Android? Or are you presently an Android fan and have got fed up waiting for news on HTC’s new Thunderbolt to arrive. Although we await news of what Verizon are cooking up in terms of the HTC smartphone which we have to add is still delayed, we can give you some good news about a price reduction to the current Droid range.

Presently as Phandroid.com reported, a list of 9 smartphones are being advertised on Verizon’s online web page, which if clicked onto, will show a price reduction of up to $100 off the subsidised 2-year contract price. This means that 3 of their phone line-up including the Motorola Droid X, Motorola Droid R2D2 and HTC Droid Incredible can be picked up for the price of zero dollars.

As BGR pointed out, if these 3 handsets do not get your vote, then the option is there to pick up a Droid 2 Global for $99.99, a Droid Pro for $79.99 or even the Droid X for a mere $49.99.

We have to add that judging by the reports, the price reduction will only be temporary, so if you have got fed up with waiting for the HTC Thunderbolt or need a handset to fill that gap before the Droid Bionic hits retailers shelves, then head on over to Verizon’s online store.

Let us know your thoughts. Is there a phone in the Droid range that takes your fancy, if so which one?
