Motorola Atrix 4G: New Protective Case From Otterbox

When it comes to the Motorola Atrix 4G, we have reported on it a few times, one of the articles is about a tear down that the device has had revealing all of its juicy innards, but we also asked you in an unboxing article if this is the best Android phone on AT&T?

As you are probably aware this device has some really cool features including being able to dock it into a laptop station and use it in that manner. Now we have heard through the AndroidCommunity that there is a new protective case for the Motorola Atrix 4G from Otterbox.

The Atrix 4G has some pretty good specs such as a rear-facing 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash, a dual-core Tegra 2 processor running at 1GHz, 1024MB of RAM and a lovely large 4” capacitive touch-screen with a 540×960 resolution featuring multi-touch capabilities. If you want to read more of the specs, then head over to Phonearena.com where they have them listed.

Onto the case that you need to protect your brand spanking new smartphone to stop it breaking and make it that little bit more robust. As we mentioned earlier, it’s made by Otterbox who say in their press release that you can purchase the case directly from them or by visiting an AT&T retail store. So what’s so special about this case? Well, it provides protection against being dropped as well as shock as you would expect from any case but also has dust prevention and they mention water protection although they wouldn’t recommend the case for being protective against water (sounds a bit crazy).

The main functions of this case are to prevent dust and to help you keep your device spick and span using the ‘Defender Series’ cases and they mention that this is the most rugged protection available. The price range of the different cases are from $19.95 – $49.95 and you can check them out by using this link.

What do you think of the case? Have you purchased one already? Let us know your thoughts and experiences in the comments section below.
