New Sony PS3 Dual-Shock 3 Dock & Candy Blue Controllers

There’s some good news for all of you Sony PlayStation fans out there who have managed to play your controllers to death. There’s a new one that have become available in a Candy Blue color. Not only that but there’s also a new charging station!

Over on Slashgear their author Shane McGlaun explains that one of the unattractive looks of the PS3 is when the USB cables are trailing from the machine to your controllers. Now you can get rid of the trailing cables when your battery dies with the Sony Dualshock 3 Charging Station. The great thing about the charging station is that it can charge two separate controllers at the same time and the station doesn’t need to be physically attached to the PS3 as it has an AC adapter leaving your USB ports free.

The station is as aesthetically pleasing as the controllers; it’s the same color as the standard controls and even when they are docked they still look good. As we previously mentioned, the charging station wasn’t the only device that Sony revealed, the other was the Candy Blue controller which is a little different and is pretty cool. The press release says that both devices will ship in Japan on April 21st and contains pricing. Unfortunately there’s not a peep of when they will hit the US or UK.
