MSI Tablet: Tegra 2 Dual-Core & Honeycomb Present

When it comes to tablet PCs it seems like the norm is to have a dual-core processor and where possible to run Android Gingerbread 2.3 or Honeycomb 3.0. We have reported on a few MSI products including the WindPad 100W and the gaming laptop MSI GT680R-008US.

Now we are reading reports on Engadget from CeBIT that the new MSI WindPad 100A is on its way. Not only that but when it hits us it will be running on Android Honeycomb and will feature a dual-core Tegra 2 CPU.

When you see the device you can instantly tell that the screen is extremely reflective which isn’t good but then when you see all of the connections it has it makes you realize that this tablet is perhaps a little more worthwhile.

Over at Engadget, their author Joanna Stern is reporting on the device and mentions that the tablet on display is in fact the same as the one that was shown at CeBIT 2011 with the addition of Honeycomb. MSI are famed for their decent prices and if this one is priced slightly lower than the competition then if they can undercut them and make a tidy profit.

What do you think of the new tablet PC from MSI? Will you be considering this beast when it comes out? Let us know in the comments below.
